Kawasaki Refinery Runs Exhibit, Receives Best Booth Award at Kawasaki International Eco-Tech Fair 2017

The Kawasaki refinery (Kawasaki City, Kanagawa; refinery manager: Fumito Fujii) of TonenGeneral Sekiyu K.K. (head office: Minato-ku, Tokyo; president: Jun Mutoh) ran an exhibition booth at the Kawasaki International Eco-Tech Fair 2017, held at Todoroki Arena on February 16 and 17.

The Eco-Tech Fair, an international exhibition, is an opportunity for Kawasaki City to introduce its outstanding environmental technology and expertise to visitors from Japan and abroad, as well as an opportunity for business matching between businesses and organizations holding exhibits and visiting businesses from Japan and abroad. This year’s fair, the ninth in as many years, featured a total of 216 exhibition booths run by 133 organizations, and was attended by 15,500 visitors (according to event organizers) over the two-day period.

The TonenGeneral Group’s booth focused on environmental protection and energy conservation initiatives, and featured presentations, panel exhibits, a demonstration of the Video Pump used at the Group’s Express service stations, and an environment quiz. The Group’s booth was selected by visitors for the Best Booth Award for the fourth consecutive year.

The TonenGeneral Group will continue to advance its social contributions initiatives through a variety of activities.
