Kawasaki Refinery Holds Blood Drive
The Kawasaki refinery (Kawasaki City, Kanagawa; refinery manager: Fumito Fujii) of TonenGeneral Sekiyu K.K. (head office: Minato-ku, Tokyo; president: Jun Mutoh) held a blood drive at the refinery on February 9, 2017, through the Kanagawa Red Cross Blood Center. Around 60 employees of the refinery and contractor companies donated blood in the initiative.
The Kanagawa Red Cross Blood Center distributes donated blood to a number of large medical facilities, including a highly advanced university hospital, and the amount of blood used by these facilities is increasing.
We cooperate in blood drives held at our Kawasaki refinery twice a year as part of our social contribution efforts.
